Activity: Running
Time: 40:00
Notes:
Family run with the double jogger. It ended up being a fartlek because someone needed a snack or a paci or a toy every few minutes causing us to slow down.

Activity: Running
Distance: 8.5 miles
Notes:
.25m warmup; 8miles averaging 8:05 and 1% incline; .25m cooldown
The thought of running 8 straight miles at tempo pace on the mill was enough to drive me batty. So I did short intervals at various paces and inclines which broke it up and kept me from going insane.

Time: 30:00, 15:00
Notes:
I didn't get on the bike until after 9PM and finished up a little before 10. I really don't like working out that late but with two little ones and a job it's my only option sometimes.

Distance: 6 miles
Notes:
.5m warmup; 4x1m @ 7:35 (1% incline) w/ .25m walk recovery; .75m cooldown
Mile repeats have never felt so good :) Too bad I am three weeks out from the race as I would have normally racheted it up a bit. This was a good confidence boost for the half marathon coming up.

Activity: Running
Distance: 10 miles
Avg Pace: 8:51
Notes:
My longest run to date post-baby. I ran at a local park which is uphill for the first 3+ miles. Ouch. However, the best part about going out uphill is that you come home downhill. It was nice to let loose and fly. I could have run the last half faster but I didn't want to leave it all on a training run so I dialed it back. I was supposed to run the mileage at 8:53 pace so I was right on target. Great run and definite confidence boost.

I ran this at the park on the trails so the time was slower than my goal. However, I ran the last 2 or so on roads and they were at pace so all is well.
